PRAMILA STEEL & FORGE FITTING

Safety Policy

At PRAMILA STEEL & FORGE FITTING (PSFF), safety is at the heart of everything we do. As leaders in industrial construction, we are committed to the well-being of our employees, contractors, and the wider community. We implement robust safety practices and continuously work to minimize risks across all our sites.

Safety Measures at Our Construction Sites:

  1. Comprehensive Safety Instructions:
Every employee holds a valid white card before starting work on-site. Additionally, site-specific induction training is provided to all workers, covering high-risk areas and emergency management protocols.

  2. Risk Management and Reduction:
While it is impossible to eliminate all risks in construction, we focus on managing and reducing safety hazards. Regular safety audits and established reporting protocols allow us to address risks proactively, preventing common safety issues before they arise.

  3. Site Security and Safety:
Access to our construction sites is restricted not just to prevent theft or damage to equipment, but also to ensure the safety of pedestrians. Security measures are enforced during and after work hours to protect everyone near the site from construction-related risks.

  4. Safe Work Method Evaluation:
All high-risk construction activities require a detailed safe work method evaluation (SWME) before work begins. This evaluation covers the project scope, potential safety hazards, and a risk management strategy. No work commences until SWME requirements are fully met.

  5. Clear Site Signage:
We maintain clear and visible safety signage across the construction site. Emergency contact numbers, site office directions, and safety procedures are prominently displayed, along with markings for entry and exit points, restrooms, and emergency equipment.

  6. Designated Entry and Exit Points:
For the safety of pedestrians and workers, separate entry and exit points are created for heavy vehicles and equipment at our construction sites. This reduces the risk of accidents, especially at busy intersections.

  7. Preparedness for Environmental Conditions:
Extreme weather can introduce serious safety risks. In the event of a natural disaster or adverse environmental conditions, our emergency plan outlines specific procedures to safeguard employees and halt work if necessary.

  8. On-Site First Aid:
A certified first aid officer is present on-site at all times. First aid kits and equipment are placed in accessible areas to ensure quick response in the event of an injury.

  9. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
We provide all employees with necessary personal protective equipment, including high-visibility vests, helmets, safety goggles, and safety harnesses. Workers are trained to use PPE correctly to ensure optimal protection on-site.

  10. Prevention of Dropped Objects:
We take responsibility for maintaining a secure site, minimizing the risk of objects being dropped. Safety doesn’t end with the project; our commitment to using proper tools and materials ensures future safety concerns are avoided.

At PRAMILA STEEL & FORGE FITTING (PSFF), safety is not just a policy—it’s a way of working. We are dedicated to maintaining a safe environment through constant evaluation and improvement of our safety practices, ensuring the security of our employees, partners, and the community.
